I tried a different recipe this time and the rolls didn't turn out as soft and moist as the first recipe.
I still recommend this recipe that I used last time.
But this recipe is easier because you can let the bread machine do the work.
Here is the ingredients for the dough:
1cup warm milk
2 eggs
1/3 melted butter
4 1/2 cup bread flour
1/2 cup white sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons yeast
Direction:
1. I put all the ingredients in our Kitchen Aid machine in the order above. After it's well blended for about two minutes, I let it sit and rise. If you use a bread machine, select dough cycle and press Start.
2. After the dough has doubled in size, turn it out onto a lightly floured surface, cover and let rest for 10 minutes.
3. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon. And have the butter ready.
1 cup brown sugar
2 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1/3 cup butter
4. Roll dough into a 16X21 inch rectangle. Spread dough with 1/3 cup butter and sprindle evenly with sugar/cinnamon mixture.
5. Roll up dough and cut into 12 rolls.
6. Place rolls in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Cover and let rise until nearly doubled, about 30 minutes.
I took the pan out to take a nice picture then put it back in the oven.
This is the view from the top.
7. Bake rolls in preheated oven (400 degrees F=200 degree C) until golden brown, about 15 minutes.
I brushed some butter on the rolls. There is a frosting recipe that you can use and put on the rolls: beat together 1 (3 ounce) package of cream cheese, 1/4 cup butter, white sugar, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1/8 teaspoon salt. Sread frosting on warm rolls, and enjoy!
Our boarder loved it!
