Before his fourth birthday, C.B. finally could sit down
and concentrate on a calm activity game besdies computer games.
He enjoyed building things that looked very interesting.
Like this one, it didn't look like it would balance but it did.
As he played more with the blocks,
he grew more interested in doing it and needed more blocks.
So we pulled out the colorful blocks that he used to play when he was a toddler.

Then we found a block set that you could put marbels on the top
and would roll through the hole in each piece of block.
If you did it correctly,
the marbel will roll from the very top to the bottom and come out.

This is the biggest and tallest one he's built with a little bit daddy's help:)

It was always facinating to see how he would use those triangle blocks
and how he could manage to make the building balanced.
Dec. 2001
Sometimes he would use the alphabet blocks and ㄅㄆㄇㄈ blocks just for a change.
When we were in the States (summer),
kids played with the blocks that Aunt Patti gave.
C.B. couldn't build tall ones because he didn't have that many blocks to use,
but he still build a tower for Repunzel to live in.

November 2002
Back in Taiwan,
A friend gave us an interesting set of blocks
and Connor started to see what he could do with it.
He also used Jenga blocks and made this building
that looked like "Taipei 101" building
which was not built yet at the time:)
There are a few more pictures of his creativity that I would post soon...
He stopped playing with blocks, I think, by 2nd grade.
Now he's making models because he is interested in architecture.
The next two articles I will post the models he's built this summer.
